15 years of teaching and I need a break! So what better way than to do a 'lap of Australia'? People called me mad, they said "Tags, you're mad!" So I listened to them, and went anyway.
This is me (w/hair and stress)
What ever you do don't ask about the van, about buying a car over the internet, about Queensland roadworthys, about imported cars, about insurance or about parts. Because they're not that bad ...just do your research and hope like hell for good luck!!

What is the BIG tour? It is about 15 years of teaching and a beautiful thing we have in Australia called long service leave (unless of course you have a real job). Combine the two and you have the perfect excuse to do as little as possible for as long as possible.
Why BIG? Because of some stupid fascination (amongst others) for those wonderful marvels of Australia - the tourist trap BIG thing. First started in the past with the BIG Banana at Coff's Harbour (included are old and the new ones!!) and continuing to this day with such marvels as the BIG shell, the BIG lawnmower and the BIG ...well you'll see... and so will I.
Enjoy the site - IF it works and I can maintain it - and when you're hard at work and I'm on a beach somewhere in tropical Australia, take comfort, I'm thinking of you too!!!!!
